2nd CSR Round-Table®

The 2^nd Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Round-Table [The 2^nd CSR Round-Table®]. This event brings together corporate figures and entities notable for their corporate responsibility engagements. Details of this event are appended. It’s scheduled for Thursday 10^th November, 2011 at Kampala Serena Hotel, Katonga Hall. The theme is: “Expanding the capability of the Private Sector to address development challenges through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Focus on Millennium Development Goals (MDGS).”

The outcome of this 2^nd CSR Round-Table® will be the “Uganda Declaration by Business on Development issues.” This declaration will be a document outlining the priority commitments by the private sector to join hands with the public sector in pursuant of national development priorities, in more specific terms, towards the attainment of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). In addition, this document will be showcasing the private sector’s requests for government to create an enabling environment for them to engage with it in priority development issues.
